cool mom picks

I won’t deny it. I love to shop. I inherited this love and able capability from my mother, and before her, my grandmother. Before having a child, I was on the hunt for purses, jewellery and shoes, oh how I love shoes, especially red ones. Now I shop for my son and soon, a newborn. I love products that are well constructed, unique, clever in design, and reasonably priced. I have a soft spot for handmade or artist designed. I’m one of the those people that purchases birthday and Christmas gifts months in advance because I convince myself “It’s perfect, I should just get it now”. And, sometimes I keep them for myself…shhh. So, when I stumbled upon Cool Mom Picks, I sighed and let my fingers do the browsing.

In their own words: We’re just a few moms that track down cool stuff so you can stay busy being fabulous. We know cool stuff doesn’t make the mom, but it certainly helps make life a little better. We have a soft spot for non-mainstream products and services, particularly those from indie or emerging designers and mom/women-run companies. We believe you can stay true to your dazzling design sensibilities and still support an entrepreneur, especially one trying to support her family through her work. But we can be found loving on anything that we think is cool, really.
